We spent 15 days in Sumba and Umbu was a wonderful guide. He introduced us to local life and history. He took us to villages where time seemed to stand still (we'll long remember the welcome and smiles of the locals). He always answered our questions in a very interesting way, giving us an insight into local life in all the wonderful places we visited. We were lucky enough to discover places not frequented by tourists, which allowed us to feel alone in the world. We had a wonderful and exciting family vacation. We would like to thank the whole team for their advice and kindness.

10 days engraved forever in our memories, with the wonderful team from "The World of Sumba". Umbu (boumboum as my daughter called him) is a careful, caring and attentive driver and guide. He also showed us around his village and the kindness of its inhabitants. The trip was very varied: heavenly beaches, incredible sunsets, waterfalls worthy of an adventure film, traditional villages, trekking to discover villages unknown to tourists. All of this in a simple, good-humored way. Arriving as "clients" and leaving as "friends", we really enjoyed being immersed in local life, understanding the culture, beliefs, customs and way of life. An unforgettable trip.
